When should I book my newborn baby photoshoot at home?
Ideally before your baby arrives, based on your due date. The final session date can be arranged after birth.
What if my baby arrives early or late?
That is normal. For newborn bookings, we use the due date as a guide and confirm the session date once baby arrives.
How old should my baby be for newborn photos?
Newborn sessions are usually best in the first couple of weeks, but sessions can still be arranged outside that window depending on your baby and the style you want.
Do you come to my home?
Yes. Pro Baby Photos specialises in home sessions. I bring the required setup to you.
Do you bring lighting?
Yes. Sessions are not natural-light-only. I bring professional lighting.
What do I need to prepare?
Very little. A suitable warm space, access to power, and close parking are the main practical details.
What if my home is small?
That is usually fine. I only need a suitable area for the setup.
Do I need to clean the whole house?
No. The photos are created around the photography setup, so the whole house does not need to be perfect.
Do you bring props, wraps and outfits?
Yes. I bring props, wraps, selected baby outfits, backdrops and styling items for the session.
Can parents and siblings be included?
Yes, parents and siblings can be included where the baby and session time allow.
Can grandparents be included?
Grandparents can be included where agreed and where the session time and baby allow.
How long does a newborn session take?
Newborn sessions usually last between 1 hour 30 minutes and 3 hours, depending on feeding, settling and the selected package.
What if my baby does not settle?
Sessions are baby-led. There is time for feeding, cuddles, settling and breaks, and we work around what your baby is comfortable doing.
How much is the booking fee?
The booking fee is £100. It secures the session and is deducted from the final package price.
When is the remaining balance paid?
The remaining balance is paid on the day of the photoshoot unless something different has been agreed in writing.
How many edited photos do we receive?
Packages currently include 10, 25 or 40 edited digital photos depending on the package you choose.
Can we buy extra edited photos?
Extra edited images may be available depending on the gallery and will be confirmed before purchase.
How do we receive the photos?
Final edited images are delivered through a private online gallery or download link.
When do we receive the final edited photos?
Edited images are usually delivered within 20 to 25 days after you select your final favourites.
Do we get every photo taken during the session?
No. You receive a selected gallery and the final edited images included in your chosen package.
Do you cover my area?
Message with your town or postcode area and I will let you know if I can cover it.
Do you need parking?
Yes. Because I bring equipment, suitable parking needs to be very close to the entrance.
Can we keep photos private?
Yes. If you want your images kept private, say so before or at the time of booking.
How do I book?
Send a WhatsApp message with your due date or baby age, location and the package you are considering.
